About our Glass Splashbacks
Royston Glass splash backs are fabricated using Pilkington glass, the worlds leading name in glass manufacturing. We use 6mm toughened float glass as standard for splash backs, although up to 19mm is available for worktops and other installations. We manufacture to your own specification in virtually any colour imaginable. Pilkington Opti-white (low iron) glass provides additional colour clarity and is available at an extra cost. We suggest that this is only necessary when installing pale colours or white. With these colour options a hint of green can occasionally be visible in standard float glass.
All our glass is toughened to British Standard (BS 6206-EN12600) with polished edged for your safety. For more technical advice please contact our sales office or visit the FAQ’s page
